Praha Spezial

It has been a while since I've updated, and for that I am sorry. I have been sehr busy, but in a good way. My Deutsch Sprachkurs is going very well, and my German is getting better every day. Last weekend I went to Salzburg. I walked around, saw Mozart's home, went into a fortress, saw a bunch of places they filmed The Sound of Music, and ate the ORIGINAL Sachertorte. Here's some pictures:

Last Sunday I went to Neuschwanstein, a castle built by Ludwig the II of Bavaria. It was never finished as he died of "mysterious circumstances." We got to see the 10 finished rooms, but we weren't allowed to take pictures inside. Here's the outside:

After we saw the castle we hiked through the gorge below, where we saw beautiful waterfalls like this one:

It was a really nice day, so people were swimming and the hike was lovely.

Yesterday I went to the Olympiaparke with people from my language classes. We went up into the tower in the middle of the park, the Olympiaturm, and saw a beautiful view of Munich. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera, but I did have my iPhone. This is the Olympiastadium from above:

Today I bought a train ticket to Prague for next weekend........... and this weekend I go to Hamburg. Sehr gut!!
