Humboldt University

So I just finished my registration for the Humboldt University. I probably should have screencapped it or something but honestly I didn't even think about that until I closed the window it was in. haaaaaaaaah

I have a meeting with the Beijing program people later today. The email said there will be snacks. This should be good.

shitty shit shit poop sick

I've been neglecting this blog, which is sort of understandable due to the fact that I have been busy/sick/working/not in a foreign country yet. But I did have a meeting last week with the people and advisors for the Berlin program, and that was good. It was more of a social meeting, I got to know everyone and the advisor who is currently studying in NYC Skyped in. She was awesome, and told me that my "visual project" for the course could definitely be done on video vs. photography, which is what the rest of the group is doing. SO by the end of this year I should have at least three shorts done, which is great because I really need to work on building my portfolio for FILM SCHOOL.

I've recently discovered that I can actually graduate a full year early, which has also led to a lot of anxiety about what I'm going to do AFTER I GRADUATE. I kind of want to take some time off and work and save for grad school, because my parents have informed me that they will not be helping me out with that. I'm thinking about going to teach English in a foreign country, because they provide housing and pay me and I could work on films in my free time. Or maybe Au Pairing. Or maybe I'll just go straight to film school. I don't know.

I have a meeting for the Beijing program this Thursday, where hopefully I'll talk to the TA for the program about learning some basic Chinese. By this time next year I'll know Greek, Chinese, German, a little bit of Spanish, and English. ow ow owwwwwww
